Dashcam supply & installation
Front and front-and-rear dashcams, hardwired with concealed wiring and parking mode set up where your camera supports it. We come to you.
Choose your setup
Every installation starts with the right camera for your vehicle and how you use it.
Front dashcam
A single forward-facing camera, tucked behind the mirror and out of your line of sight.
Front + rear
Adds a rear camera, with the cable routed through the headlining and trims to the back of the vehicle.
Hardwired installation
Powered from the fuse box with the right fuse taps – no cable to the accessory socket.
Parking mode
Recording while parked, where your camera and hardwire kit support it.
Watching while you’re parked
Parking mode lets a dashcam keep recording after you’ve switched off. It needs a constant power supply, usually through a hardwire kit connected at the fuse box.
Many hardwire kits include a low-voltage cut-off that turns the camera off before your battery gets too low to start the car. Where your kit supports it, we set the cut-off to suit your vehicle and how long it usually sits.
Parking mode features differ between cameras. We’ll explain what your chosen camera can do before installing.

Common questions
How long does a dashcam installation take?
[CONFIRM TYPICAL INSTALL TIMES – e.g. front only vs front + rear] Times vary by vehicle and camera, and we’ll give you an estimate with your quote.
Will a dashcam drain my battery?
When it’s only powered with the ignition, no. For parking mode, a hardwire kit with a low-voltage cut-off is designed to switch the camera off before the battery gets too low. We set it up to suit your vehicle.
Where does the camera go?
Usually behind the rear-view mirror, so it’s out of your line of sight and in the area cleared by the wipers.
Can you fit a rear camera to a ute, van or vehicle with dark tint?
Often, yes. Depending on the vehicle, an exterior waterproof rear camera can be a better option than one on the rear window. We’ll recommend the right camera for your setup.
Can you install a dashcam I’ve already bought?
[CONFIRM: do you install customer-supplied dashcams?]
Is a memory card included?
[CONFIRM: do you supply high-endurance microSD cards with installs?] Many dashcams don’t include one, and the right card matters for reliability.
